Ride 4 AIDS encourages companies and/or groups of friends to form teams.  Teams can help raise funds for the event together, as well as gain sponsorship of local businesses and community members.  If you would like to start or join an existing team, please visit http://ride4aids08.kintera.org.

Are you interested in helping to make this year’s Ride 4 AIDS a success?!

The UCSD AIDS Research Institute and Being Alive San Diego are looking for out-going, energetic volunteers to help out with the Ride 4 AIDS. 

Volunteer opportunities before the day of the event, Sunday, April 13, include:

1. Promoting the Ride 4 AIDS within the community, such as posting flyers and distributing brochures to businesses and/or local popular destinations
2. Promoting fundraising and creation of teams
3. Preparing participant materials one week prior to the event

Volunteer opportunities on the day of the event include:

1. Check-in and registration
2. Attendees at the various aid stations
3. Course Guides (provide directions along the ride routes)
4. Set-up/clean-up
5. Check in bags
6. Help out with giveaways
7. Help at the food table
8. “Cheerers” (welcome our wonderful riders when they cross the finish line)
